Senior Platform Engineer is required for a fast-growing Renewables scale-up that is revolutionising the way energy is used and managed across the UK. The company is changing the shopping system behind some of the key industries within GreenTech at the moment including electrical vehicle charges and batteries 🔋. Turning a very archaic and labour intensive industry, into an E-commerce, digital experience for the likes of EV Charging points, Solar panels, Wind turbines & other renewable energy equipment.
Their expertise in this commercial sector spans across multiple teams including product and supply chain teams. This means theirplatform is currently at the crossroads of innovation and sustainability and supercharging ⚡the best distribution service in the nation.
As a Senior Platform Engineer you will work on developing their Azure DevOps platform. This includes building and optimising APIs, ensuring the system can handle large volumes of data and maintaining high performance and security. This includes taking part in stakeholder conversations and promoting best practices like TDD, BDD and CI/CD.
💰This Senior Platform Engineer role is paying up to £80,000
📍This is a hybrid role with one day a week in the office where you will join up with the engineering & product teams in London.
🧑💻 Tech Stack: Azure DevOps, YAML, Terraform or Bicep for IaC, coding experience a BONUS
Senior Platform Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines acting as a intermediary between technology and business logic
- Developing infrastructure as code utilising Terraform and/or Bicep
- Helping out on coding so background in any of Node.js, Python, Typescript, .NET, etc. is hugely beneficial
- Collaborate with the wider engineering team to ensure the platform is reliable, performant, and secure.
